The Hook

The players are all offered 50 silver each to remove the vermin infesting the basement of Gann Geigar, the general store owner in the small town of Lanternwood. What was thought to be only some large rodents running amok, turn out to be an infestation of gremlins—small demonic miscreants that gather in large numbers.

The Truth

A cursed artifact stored in the basement was somehow disturbed and opened a gate to a darker plane, summoning the creatures. Left unchecked, the gremlins will multiply and even worse creatures are bound to follow in their wake.

This scenario is suitable for a party of level 1 characters.
